Sonata Arctica and Rage are coming to Pratteln for a co-headlining show. As if that alone were not reason enough to make the pilgrimage to Z7 on 1 May 2027, they are offering an absolute premiere this time: as part of the \u201cCo-Headliner Tour\u201d, Sonata Arctica will perform with an orchestra for the very first time. And our record-holding guests Rage will not only celebrate their 25th appearance at Z7, but also the 30th anniversary of their legendary symphonic metal masterpiece \u201cXIII\u201d. <\/strong><\/p>\n Sonata Arctica: <\/strong>Power metal with an unmistakable gift for captivating melodies and anthemic song structures that become addictive from the very first listen. These are the trademarks that have delighted the metal world for three decades. Unsurprisingly, 2025 and 2026 were entirely dedicated to their 30th anniversary tour. In 2027, the Finns are opening a new chapter in their glorious career. For the first time ever, the band will tour with a full orchestra. Formed in the mid-1990s, Sonata Arctica quickly established themselves as one of the leading forces in melodic metal, bursting with energy and sheer joy of playing.
