With CoreLeoni, one of today\u2019s most successful Swiss hard rock bands returns to the Z7 stage. Founded by Gotthard co-founder Leo Leoni, the project has been thrilling audiences for years with its irresistible blend of timeless hard rock anthems and fresh original material. Joining them as co-headliners are 90s melodic rock heroes Tyketto, who will bring their brand-new album to Pratteln. <\/strong><\/p>\n

CORELEONI:<\/strong> When Leo Leoni founded CoreLeoni in 2017, his goal was to breathe new life into the songs from Gotthard\u2019s early years. What began as a tribute to the early days of one of Switzerland\u2019s most successful rock bands quickly evolved into an independent band with an international reputation. Before long, original compositions found their place alongside newly interpreted classics. With their studio albums to date, CoreLeoni have firmly established themselves as one of the leading names in melodic hard rock, impressing with powerful guitars, soaring melodies and first-class songwriting. Since 2022, exceptional Albanian vocalist Eugent Bushpepa has fronted the band, giving the songs a distinctive new character with his powerful voice. Together with Leo Leoni, guitarist Jgor Gianola, bassist Mila Merker and drummer Alex Motta, he forms a perfectly harmonised line-up that captivates audiences with musicianship, passion and outstanding stage presence. Their latest album, \u201cGeneration Rock\u201d, seamlessly continues the band’s journey, combining classic hard rock with contemporary energy. Live, fans can look forward to a journey through the band\u2019s catalogue \u2013 from legendary songs of the early Gotthard era to CoreLeoni\u2019s finest original compositions. <\/p>\n

TYKETTO:<\/strong> In the early \u201990s, they were one of the most promising bands in melodic hard rock. With albums like Don\u2019t Come Easy (1991) and Strength in Numbers (1994), the band around exceptional singer Danny Vaughn seemed destined for the top of the scene. But the rise of grunge dealt a fatal blow to \u201980s hard rock and prevented their major breakthrough. Frustrated and disillusioned, Tyketto disbanded after releasing their third studio album Shine in 1996. To the delight of fans, they returned in 2012 with a new studio album, Dig In Deep. Since then, the band has been active on stage again. In 2016, they followed up with Reach, another strong release that proved Vaughn is still an outstanding songwriter. After a long wait, spring 2026 finally brings a new album, Closer To The Sun. Alongside Vaughn, the band features Harry Scott Elliott on guitar, Ged Rylands on keyboards, Chris Childs (Thunder) on bass and Johnny Dee (Doro) on drums. On Closer To The Sun, Tyketto explore real-life themes such as love, loss and joy. From the anthemic celebration of love in the title track to the raw punch of \u201cHit Me Where It Hurts\u201d and the power ballad \u201cThe Picture,\u201d Tyketto confidently continue on the melodic rock path that made them great. With Closer To The Sun, they reaffirm their place among the most respected and enduring names in the scene.
