True Metal Warriors<\/h3>\n

Viking style and Norse mythology characterize the appearance and music of the Swedish power metal band Brothers of Metal through and through. The epic songs are characterized by catchy melodies, powerful choirs and fat guitar riffs. With breathtaking stories and energetic performances, the Brothers of Metal regularly transport their fans into a fantastic world of battles and legends. <\/b><\/p>\n

In Sweden, the cult surrounding the eight-piece collective Brothers of Metal was already bubbling in 2012 when the band was founded as a purely fun project to breathe new life into true metal. And since the self-released debut “Prophecies Of Ragnar\u00f6k” in 2017 was distributed worldwide in November 2018 with the concentrated power of new contractual partner AFM Records, the international metal community has been watching the eight-piece metal monster from Falun with rapt attention. In 2020, they conquered the charts in Sweden, Germany, Austria and Switzerland with their second longplayer “Emblas Saga”. The third album followed in 2024: “Fimbulvinter”.
\nBrothers of Metal are a phenomenon on the international scene. Their catchy yet powerful songs and martial outfits, including archaic weapons, are a tribute to both heavy metal and the Norse gods. Their first two albums have earned the Swedish band an excellent reputation, with their latest longplayer Brothers of Metal have taken the next step: “Fimbulvinter” shows all the band’s strengths, but also contains some significant new elements. “The basic sound is still there, but we’ve also developed as songwriters, so the songs have more depth and breadth than before,” emphasizes singer Mats Nilsson. “We deal with the same themes as before, but have also ventured into new areas and explored new stories. We always try to have songs on every album that suit us all. As a result, our anthems are very multi-layered and combine different metal genres. We love that.” The songs on “Fimbulvinter” are blessed with plenty of hit potential and offer an almost perfect mix of traditional metal, Viking\/Pagan and power metal. The harsh vocals of Joakim Lindb\u00e4ck Eriksson and his female counterpart Ylva Eriksson are in the foreground. They are joined by the barbaric choirs of their fellow musicians. This is Manowar meets Alestorm, with a dash of Powerwolf and Sabaton. The band themselves describe their extremely catchy mixture as true metal and comment: “Wimps and posers watch out. Here comes the real metal. Whether you are tiny and frail or big as a giant, weak or brave in your soul. Whether your mind is bright and nimble or dark as night, fear not, for together we shall conquer all.
