At a time when pedalboards, laptops and samples have become the norm, Californian guitarist Eric Steckel swims against the tide, reminding us of the days when guitars were played loud through great amplifiers. Hailed by many as the biggest rising star of blues rock, Eric delivers powerful, passionate performances on a regular basis, captivating audiences around the globe. Very few young guitarists can boast a r\u00e9sum\u00e9 as impressive as Eric Steckel\u2019s. His debut album A Few Degrees Warmer was recorded live in April 2002 \u2013 when he was just eleven years old. It didn\u2019t take long before Eric appeared at the Sarasota Blues Festival, where his performance quickly became the talk of the day.
