ZOMBIE METAL AT Z7
Captivating storytelling, brilliant songwriting and outstanding musicianship – with this winning formula, Nuremberg’s Dominum have taken the metal scene by storm over the past three years. In December 2026, Dr. Dead and his zombies will bring their untamed power metal with a horror twist to our stage for the first time as headliners. Packed in their touring luggage: their brand-new third album (release: July 2026).
The Nuremberg power metal high-flyers Dominum burst onto the scene with a bang in 2023: their debut album Hey Living People immediately entered the German album charts in the Top 20. With horror-inspired lyrics, powerful compositions, punchy covers of Dead or Alive, Billie Eilish and Midnight Oil, and theatrical performances, they quickly built a loyal fanbase. The mastermind behind the project is singer Felix Heldt, who has made a name for himself as songwriter and producer for bands such as Feuerschwanz and Visions Of Atlantis. As Dominum frontman Dr. Dead, he takes listeners into a world of the undead, telling stories of zombies, survival battles and an insatiable hunger for more. With their debut album, Dominum conquered European stages as support for scene heavyweights like Bruce Dickinson, Avantasia, Feuerschwanz and Peyton Parrish, as well as with acclaimed festival appearances in front of tens of thousands of fans. At the end of 2024 came the next strike: with The Dead Don’t Die, the zombie metal outfit unleashed the undead once again and climbed this time into the Top 10 of the charts. Alongside ten brand-new tracks, Dominum delivered a thunderous cover version of the Scorpions classic “Rock You Like A Hurricane.” Over the past years, Dominum have also become familiar faces in Pratteln. In December 2023, they first appeared here as support for Die Apokalyptischen Reiter. In December 2024, they returned with Feuerschwanz, followed in December 2025 by another appearance as special guest for Battle Beast. From elite warm-up act to full-fledged main act, the power zombies have steadily risen through the ranks. In December 2026, they return to Pratteln as headliners for the first time, armed with their third album, which will celebrate its live premiere at the sold-out Rockharz Festival in July.
