Dark club sounds, an electrifying atmosphere, a healthy dose of heaviness, goosebump moments and grand anthems for emotional warriors – that’s Blutengel. On 17 April, Chris Pohl and Ulrike Goldmann come to Z7 with their new album and a spectacular new stage show to take us once again into their deeply dark sonic world.

For almost three decades, the formation around mastermind Chris Pohl (vocals, programming) and Ulrike Goldmann (vocals) has been a firmly established name on the dark scene. With their latest album “Dämonen: Sturm”, Blutengel climbed to No. 6 on the German album charts in spring 2025. A new album will be released in February 2027, with which the duo once again aims for the upper reaches of the charts. Blutengel and their music represent a unique way of life, a creed, almost a religion of their own. Since 1998, Chris Pohl and his formation have proved that the darker side of life can also be extremely successful. Initially founded as a pure dark electro project, Pohl soon embraced an irresistibly catchy mixture of dance, pop and mystical gothic elements, accompanied by elaborate multimedia productions and spectacular live performances featuring dancers, fire shows, lighting and video art. Blutengel concerts are a spectacle that has to be experienced in person to be truly understood. Few live acts are able to create such an intense atmosphere from the very first moment and captivate their audiences quite like the Berliners. Now Blutengel are heading out on another major headline tour, performing their brand-new material alongside tried-and-tested favourites. Expectations are high for the complete package of new dark pop gems, a fine selection of Blutengel classics and a fantastic new show.
