Since the release of their debut album in 2006, alternative rockers Takida have been on the fast track. With their radio-friendly mainstream rock sound, the band first conquered their home country and eventually all of Scandinavia. Since the release of their 2024 album The Agony Flame, the multi-platinum act has been winning over rock fans across Europe with their catchy songs.

They top radio airplay charts, play ever bigger venues and continue to grow their fanbase with their unmistakable sound. The Swedish multi-platinum band Takida is riding a wave of success. In 2023, they embarked on their biggest tour to date, selling out arenas in their home country and performing on major festival stages across Europe – including one of the main stages at Wacken Open Air. Their Smoke & Mirrors tour in April 2024 continued this success story with sold-out shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With their latest album The Agony Flame, their popularity has reached new heights, marking their first appearance in the Swiss charts. Once again, the record delivers the unmistakable Takida sound, driven by infectious, anthemic choruses. Frontman Robert Pettersson is in outstanding form. With “The Lonliest Hour,” the album’s opening track – released in advance as a standalone single – the band achieved their biggest radio hit to date, debuting at No. 1 in the German Rock Radio Airplay Charts. With powerful and emotional songs like “Your Blood Awaits You,” “Third Strike” and “On The Line,” The Agony Flame offers plenty more hit potential. These songs take Takida’s already electrifying live shows to the next level. Now, the band has announced their return to Pratteln for spring 2027.
