Sweden Rock, Rock im Park, Nova Rock, Rock am Ring, Download – Z7! In 2026, modern metal masters Trivium will be rocking Europe’s biggest festival stages. At Z7, you’ll have the chance to experience the band up close in the intimate setting of a Summer Nights Indoor Show. Trivium are undoubtedly one of the leading metal bands of our time. With their landmark album Ascendancy (2005), the Floridians achieved worldwide recognition. Their blend of melody, thrash power and explosive live performances captivates devoted metalheads and a broader audience alike. In early 2025, Trivium embarked on a major retro run across Europe. On their co-headline tour with Bullet For My Valentine, they celebrated the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking album Ascendancy. The tour was originally set to continue worldwide through the end of the year, but BFMV unexpectedly pulled out. As a result, Trivium decided to release their first-ever EP, the three-track powerhouse Struck Dead. Bassist Paolo Gregoletto commented: “The new songs somehow channel the angry energy of Ascendancy. The result turned out really heavy. Some moments might be a little proggy, but there are plenty of great hooks and killer riffs.” Meanwhile, frontman Matt Heafy and the band have begun working on a new studio album scheduled for release in 2026. Guitarist Corey Beaulieu explains: “Our last record, In The Court Of The Dragon, came out in 2021. That’s the longest gap we’ve ever had between two full-length albums. So new music is definitely on the way. We’ve been working on some ideas and are turning the page to the next chapter. 2026 will bring a new album along with a full tour, festivals and everything that comes with it. It’s going to be another busy year. We’re leaving nostalgia behind and looking ahead to the future. We’re excited about that.”
