Z7 SUMMER NIGHTS OPEN AIR
FINAL SHOWS IN EUROPE
Together with AC/DC, Rose Tattoo have shaped the international rock scene like hardly any other Australian band. With the Rock’n’Roll Outlaws – One Last Ride tour, the band led by legendary frontman Angry Anderson celebrates its 50th anniversary. At the same time, their appearance at the Z7 Summer Nights Open Air marks the very last opportunity for Swiss fans to experience the band live.
The Australian rock’n’roll outlaws Rose Tattoo are writing the final chapter of their extraordinary band history. After five decades on the road, the band around frontman Angry Anderson have announced their final European tour for 2026. Since forming in 1976, Rose Tattoo have left a loud and lasting mark on the international rock scene. With their uncompromising blend of blues, hard rock and pub rock, they created a distinctive sound that has influenced generations of musicians and fans alike. Songs such as “Rock ’n’ Roll Outlaw”, “Bad Boy for Love” and “Nice Boys” are now undisputed classics of the genre. Even after half a century, Angry Anderson – the charismatic and indestructible voice of the band – continues to lead Rose Tattoo with the same energy and passion that made them one of the most respected live acts in rock history. The farewell tour will take the band across Europe one last time in 2026, promising an emotional journey through five decades of rock history – from early pub-rock anthems to later classics. Together with his perfectly tuned band, Angry will once again deliver exactly what Rose Tattoo are famous for: explosive live energy, authentic rock’n’roll attitude and the certainty that true rebellion never dies. The Rock’n’Roll Outlaws – One Last Ride shows are more than just concerts – they are a farewell to an important chapter of music history and a tribute to the timeless spirit of rock’n’roll. Remarkably, Angry Anderson will celebrate his 79th (!) birthday the day before his appearance in Pratteln. Yet instead of enjoying a well-earned retirement, the indestructible rock’n’roll warrior is hitting the road one last time to deliver his gritty messages to the fans.
Victory: Formed in 1984, Victory remain one of the most influential acts in the German heavy rock scene. Over the years, they have played countless arena and festival shows worldwide and released ten studio albums alongside live records and compilations, achieving international chart success. Despite numerous line-up changes and extended breaks, guitarist Herman Frank never gave up on keeping Victory alive. In 2021, after a ten-year hiatus, Victory released their long-awaited tenth album Gods Of Tomorrow. Metal Hammer commented: “Musically, the revamped Victory are committed to a subtly modernised late-’80s hard rock sound and feel right at home alongside bands like Asphalt Ballet or Sven Gali. In particular, new vocalist Gianni Pontillo (Pure Inc., The Order) manages to give the predominantly forward-driving, melodically motivated material a strikingly distinctive stamp.” Good Times added: “The bandleader has a knack for both ballads and anthemic tracks – all delivered with the level of hardness the name Victory stands for. And with Gianni Pontillo, Frank has found the perfect singer for this kind of power rock.” In 2024, the band around Herman Frank followed up with the new album Circle of Life (released in September) and returned to the stages. In January 2025, Victory stopped by Z7 as special guests to Grave Digger, delivering classics, brand-new material and a highly energetic live show.
