SYMPHONIC POWER IN PRATTELN

For the sixteenth time, the Americans Kamelot will return to our concert factory in autumn 2026. Over the past three and a half decades, the band has earned a reputation as one of the most influential and innovative melodic power & symphonic metal acts in the world. On November 6, 2026, they will bring their classics, a brand-new studio album and special guests Exit Eden and Temperance to Z7. A hot autumn night is guaranteed!

In April 2025, Kamelot posted a concert photo from Z7 on their social media channels, adding the caption: “Switzerland!! See you in 2026!!” And yes – they are coming back to Z7! On November 6, Kamelot will hit the stage with new songs and a brand-new stage production. With their unique blend of symphonic, melodic and power metal, the US outfit ranks among the most successful bands in the scene. Kamelot were already playing in the top league alongside Nightwish and Within Temptation. Founded in 1991, Kamelot have grown together with Z7. What first appeared in Switzerland in 1998 as a curious young band quickly evolved into a fixture in heavy rotation on Viva and MTV – and today they are an essential part of the metal world. In November 2026, the quintet will take the Z7 stage for the sixteenth time. Over the years, the band around sole remaining founding member Thomas Youngblood has refined its sound from record to record. Quite atypically American, their music carries a strong European flair, enriched with opulent orchestral arrangements that add a bombastic touch. In the world of hard rock, Kamelot occupy a unique position: their sophisticated melodic metal has always embraced related styles, incorporating progressive elements as well as touches of doom/gothic metal and classical influences, ultimately shaping a genre of their own. Two years after their last Z7 show, Kamelot return to Pratteln with new songs, a new stage show and a powerful line-up to celebrate their 35th anniversary with the fans.

Exit Eden:
The outstanding voices of Clémentine Delauney (Visions of Atlantis, ex-Serenity), Marina La Torraca (Phantom Elite) and Anna “Ace” Brunner (League of Distortion) unite in Exit Eden to form a band that embodies everything a modern act aspires to be. Open-minded, confident and independent, the three women pursue their own artistic path. In 2017, Exit Eden – then still a quartet with Amanda Somerville – first made waves with their cover of Rihanna’s “Unfaithful.” Their debut album climbed to No. 15 in the German charts. Rhapsodies in Black is a colourful blend of international superhits ranging from Rihanna and Madonna to Depeche Mode and Adele – yet it is far more than a simple covers album. With outstanding vocals, a distinctive concept and high-end production, the now trio delivered another remarkable release in 2024 with Femmes Fatales, further solidifying the supergroup’s identity. Alongside reimagined classics, the album also features original compositions, including the single “Run” with guest singer Marko Hietala. As the members are heavily involved in their other projects, Exit Eden have rarely appeared live so far. All the more reason to look forward to autumn 2026, when these three talented metal ladies – joined by their backing band – will rock our stage.

Temperance:
With their studio album Hermitage – Daruma’s Eyes Pt. 2, the Italian melodic/symphonic metal formation Temperance celebrated a triumphant comeback in 2023, unveiling an impressive new line-up. Leading the charge is the powerful voice of Kristin Starkey. Together with the classically trained opera singer, the band toured Europe alongside Serenity and Sirenia, winning over countless new fans. The energy of those concerts can be experienced on their first live album, released in spring 2025. From Hermitage To Europe perfectly captures the quintet’s dynamic performance and on-stage charisma. Alongside absolute fan favourites, the album takes listeners on an exciting journey through the musical adventures of their latest studio release and into the magical sonic world of Temperance.
