SOLO FOR FLOOR

As the singer of Nightwish and After Forever, Floor Jansen has captivated the symphonic metal world for the past three decades. With her first solo venture, “Paragon”, the Dutch vocalist proved that she possesses one of the strongest and most versatile voices in today’s music scene. In spring 2027, Floor Jansen will come to Pratteln with her second solo album.

She began her career in 1997 with After Forever, one of the very first symphonic metal bands, before becoming the outstanding frontwoman of Finnish multi-platinum sellers Nightwish in 2013. Today, Floor Jansen enjoys a reputation as one of the finest singers in the world, attracting attention with her powerful, emotional and versatile vocal style that spans multiple genres. The classically trained soprano masters it all, from enchanting clean vocals and powerful belting to gritty shouting and growling. In addition to her work with After Forever and Nightwish, she has made numerous guest appearances with artists such as Sabaton, Ayreon, Devin Townsend, Epica and Avantasia. In 2026, Floor is taking advantage of Nightwish’s hiatus to focus more on her solo career. Two support shows with Sabaton are scheduled for May, followed by several festival appearances during the summer, before she returns to the stage in autumn for two exclusive club shows in the Netherlands. The concerts at the end of October in Groningen and at the beginning of November in Amsterdam will serve as the launch of a tour featuring new material, which will also bring Floor to Z7 in January. The successor to her first solo album “Paragon” (2023) is ready to go and, according to the singer, will sound like the Floor that Nightwish fans know and love. She also plans to perform songs from “Paragon” in revamped and “metalised” versions during the upcoming concerts. It sounds like the perfect evening for fans of Nightwish, After Forever and the unique powerhouse voice of Floor Jansen.
