Symphonic metallers Serenity will return to Pratteln next spring with a new album. The “Melancholia Tour 2027” brings not only new material and a selection of classics, but also a reunion with former singer Clémentine Delauney (Visions Of Atlantis), who will join the band for several songs. Italian power metal pioneers Secret Sphere will get the crowd warmed up. The opening act will be announced soon.

Fans of symphonic and opulent metal have long associated the name Serenity with excitement, as the Austrians have continued to refine and virtually perfect their sound over the years. They tell stories from times long past, accompanied by infectious melodies and an incomparable sonic spectrum. The band is a prime example of epic symphonic and melodic metal and masters the balancing act between heaviness and passion with flying colours. Twenty years have passed since their first album – two decades during which the band has brought its captivating, orchestral sound, at times enriched with mighty choirs, to stages across Europe on numerous headlining tours and as support for bands such as Epica, Delain and Leave’s Eyes, earning a reputation as an outstanding live act both visually and musically. The band’s albums are all symphonic metal masterpieces that showcase the exceptional musicianship and powerful songwriting of its members. In spring 2027, Serenity will embark on a major European tour with their new album “Melancholia”, while celebrating the twentieth anniversary of their debut album. Alongside the new songs, fans can look forward to numerous classics from two decades of band history. A special highlight of the tour will be guest appearances by former singer Clémentine Delauney (currently with Visions Of Atlantis and Exit Eden), who will take over the microphone for selected songs. The tour promises unforgettable concert nights and very special moments for long-time followers and new fans alike.

Secret Sphere are regarded as pioneers of the Italian power metal scene. For three decades, they have carried the torch for this movement alongside fellow countrymen Labyrinth and Rhapsody Of Fire. Led by guitarist and producer Aldo Lonobile, the band, which has been active since 1997, has already released ten studio albums, toured with major names such as King Diamond and Gamma Ray, and performed at festivals across Europe. With “Blackened Heartbeat”, their second album since the return of exceptional vocalist Roberto Messina, Secret Sphere recently delivered an unusually dark and heavy record. It remains to be seen which direction the band will take with their upcoming album. One thing is certain: the prog/power metallers continue to deliver one high-quality album after another without ever compromising on quality. Fans of bands such as Helloween, Queensrÿche and Morgana Lefay are guaranteed to get their money’s worth. The characteristic symphonic metal influences give the sound a very special touch.
