22 years of Swiss-German hits – 40 years of Baschi. One month after celebrating his milestone birthday, the acclaimed singer from Gelterkinden returns to Z7 with new songs and a brand-new show. The concert in Pratteln will once again be a true home game for Baschi.

Baschi needs no introduction in Switzerland. Since his appearance on the casting show MusicStar, which aired on Swiss television between November 2003 and March 2004, he has been a household name. Even though he exited the competition early, finishing in sixth place, he was signed by a major label soon after. What followed was an impressive success story. In 2004, Baschi received the Prix Walo award for “Best Newcomer”. Twenty years later, he was honoured with a Swiss Music Award as “Best Male Act”. In between, he built a career unlike any other: eight albums released, five of them reaching number one in the charts. His journey is marked by numerous gold and platinum awards – his football anthem “Bring en hei” even achieved double platinum status. In 2020, Baschi won The Masked Singer Switzerland, and in 2023 he appeared on the popular TV show Sing meinen Song. With honest lyrics, catchy melodies and an unmistakable stage presence, he continues to captivate audiences. Many of his songs have become classics. But Baschi is far from resting on past achievements: “I’m currently working intensively on my new studio album and really looking forward to celebrating the new songs on tour with my fans.” With the upcoming tour, Baschi seamlessly builds on the successes of recent years, bringing fans closer than ever to the person behind the music – honest, direct, passionate and always with a great sense of humour. Just the way people know and love him. In 2024, he looked back on his entire musical journey with thousands of fans at the open-air event Willkommä Dähei – 20 Jahre Baschi on the village square of his hometown Gelterkinden. Two years later, we’ll be celebrating his 40th birthday at Z7 with familiar hits and brand-new material – just a few S-Bahn stops away from Gelterkinden. Chum bring en hei!
