YEAR OF THE BEAST

2025 is shaping up to be a dream year for fans of Battle Beast: songs for a new studio album are already in the works, the first live album will be released in spring, festival stages will be rocked throughout the summer, and the year will wrap up with an indoor tour. Naturally, the Finnish power metal powerhouse will also be stopping by Z7 once again. Supporting them will be chart-proven zombie metal from Dominum and symphonic power metal from Sweden courtesy of Majestica.

Battle Beast are simply unstoppable. With infectious earworms packed with punchy riffs and the unmistakable vocal power of Noora Louhimo, the Finns have long since become a flagship act of modern heavy metal. With the brilliant release Circus Of Doom, vocal force of nature Noora and her band delivered an outstanding collection of power metal anthems with strong pop appeal in January 2022, reaching new peak positions in the European charts. What followed was more than two years of relentless touring across stages all around the globe. After this seemingly endless run of success, 2025 is once again set to be a packed year. On April 11, the live album Circus Of Doom – Live In Helsinki 2023 will be released, recorded in front of 3,000 ecstatic fans at the Helsinki Ice Hall and capturing the unbridled energy of a Battle Beast concert. “Our homecoming show was definitely one for the history books,” says bassist Eero Sipilä. “After the endless Covid-related delays, with our closest friends in the audience and our biggest stage production ever, that night was a true celebration of live music and life itself.” Nearly two decades after their formation, with six albums, more than 300 million streams, four consecutive number-one albums and the strongest line-up of their career, the time has come for Battle Beast to deliver a proper live album. But that’s not all: Noora, Janne, Joona, Juuso, Eero and Pyry are already working on an even more exciting new chapter in their epic story. In an interview with Chaoszine in May 2024, Noora spoke about the progress on the Circus Of Doom successor: “I’ve already recorded the first vocal demos, and as always when we’re on tour, we’ve done a few songwriting sessions.” We’re definitely curious to see what else awaits us before December 6. One thing is already certain: with their hit-packed repertoire, Noora’s infectious stage presence and the sheer live power of the entire band, every Battle Beast show is guaranteed to be a celebration for fans.
