In 2027, DELAIN open a new chapter and bring an extraordinary concert format to the stage. Together with Marko Hietala and additional guests, they create a unique live experience that connects the band’s past and future. Fans can look forward to a special evening beyond a traditional tour show.

Over more than two decades, DELAIN have established themselves as a key force in modern melodic metal. Since their debut album Lucidity, the band has stood for a distinctive blend of catchy melodies, orchestral arrangements and powerful guitars. Albums like April Rain, We Are the Others and The Human Contradiction have shaped this path, while Dark Waters (2023) marked their biggest success to date with Top 10 chart positions in Germany and the US Hard Music Charts. Behind the band is mastermind Martijn Westerholt, who founded DELAIN after leaving Within Temptation and has continuously developed the project ever since.

In February 2027, DELAIN will embark on a tour with a special concept: instead of a standard show, the audience can expect a carefully curated live format with rotating high-profile guests and musical surprises. At the heart of it is the renewed collaboration with Marko Hietala, whose shared history with the band has produced some of its most defining moments. Additional participants will be announced at a later date. At the same time, the band is working on new material to be released ahead of the tour, marking the beginning of this new phase. With only a limited number of selected dates, this tour promises an intense and unique concert experience that goes far beyond a regular live evening.
