MONUMENTAL DARK-ROCK TRILOGY

Whether modern metal, industrial groove or dark rock – Lord Of The Lost can do it all. And the band led by mastermind Chris Harms masters the rare art of reinventing itself with every album while remaining 100% true to its identity. With Opus Noir – Volume 1, released in August, Lord Of The Lost have launched a monumental trilogy that will be continued in December 2025 and completed in spring 2026. Afterwards, the innovative Hamburg-based band will bring their Tour Noir to Pratteln to celebrate this three-part opus live with their fans.

One work, one transformation, one return to the melancholic self. Neither in title nor in musical scope does Opus Noir flirt with understatement. Now performing as a six-piece, the band sounds more intense and multi-layered than ever. Each volume contains eleven songs – 33 tracks in total – which not only conclude the flamboyantly twisted Blood & Glitter chapter, but also mark an uncompromising journey back into the band’s darker core, diving confidently into previously unexplored emotional depths.
This bold move becomes even more striking when looking at Lord Of The Lost’s recent career highlights: support slots for Iron Maiden on two European tours, their first North American shows in over a decade, sold-out headline tours, participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 final, a #1 chart entry with Blood & Glitter, acclaimed appearances at the world’s biggest festivals – even a meeting with King Charles. Honestly, how easy would it have been to keep riding that wave of success? But that’s not how Lord Of The Lost operate. The only constant is change.
So what is the LOTL essence in 2025? Once again, the band proves not only musical excellence but also top-tier craftsmanship. Produced by band founder Chris Harms, the tracks explode with power and brilliance, pulling us straight into a darkly colourful ballroom of sound. From there, the tone is set: dark wave metal on an amphitheatre scale. Everything feels new, yet every note sounds familiar. Behind every chorus lies a surprise; with every line, a new door opens to the ever-expanding LOTL universe. This band takes the expectations of its ever-growing fanbase and transforms them into songs that break genre boundaries and turn moments into monuments that truly resonate.
Metal.de summed up the start of the trilogy perfectly:
“‘Opus Noir Vol. 1’ is a strong opening. If Lord Of The Lost maintain this level throughout the following volumes, the complete work could go down in band history as their magnum opus. Rarely has an album by the band featured such a high density of hits.”
We’re certain the live experience will leave nothing to be desired either.

Dogma:
They bear the names of powerful female entities from ancient cultures – and with them, a clear statement. Dogma stand for self-empowerment, sensuality without constraint, and freedom without fear. Inspired by acts like The Pretty Reckless, In This Moment or Alice Cooper, these demonic metal nuns combine dramatic imagery with explosive rock energy and anthemic hooks. Dogma are more than just a band – they are a ritual.
Frontwomen Lilith, Lamia, Nixe and Abrahel wield heavy riffs, industrial sounds and dark pop melodies as weapons against ignorance and oppression. Their songs feel like invocations: raw, hypnotic and always carrying a clear message – “Question everything, even us.” Wrapped in mythology and provocation, Dogma create space for freedom and self-determination. Anyone attending their shows enters a universe where music doesn’t just entertain, but awakens and liberates.

League Of Distortion:
In 2022, the Swabian modern metal outfit League Of Distortion burst onto the scene with their self-titled debut album. Tours supporting Caliban and Cypecore followed, along with numerous festival appearances. At the Z7 in 2023, they delivered a strong opening set alongside Kamelot, Myrath and Eleine.
The experience gained from their debut and extensive live activity helped the band refine their sound and evolve creatively. With Galvanize (2024), vocalist Anna “Ace” Brunner (Exit Eden) and guitarist Jim “Arro” Müller (Kissin’ Dynamite) presented an even more powerful musical statement, opening the next chapter of the band’s journey. Galvanize is a brutal storm of unrestrained energy – a unique blend of genre-fluid modern metal, creative performance, provocation and raw emotion.
